Lenten Mission Project
Giving Back to Our Community
Women of Faith will be collecting necessities for immigrants and refugees. Items will be collected at Wednesday Devotions, Saturday Prayer Breakfasts, Sunday mornings, or any time in the Commons.
NOTE: All weeks … please bring SMALL packages or Individual/Travel Sized Items!
Week 1: Feb 14-20 … band-aids or lip balm (i.e. Chap Stick)
Week 2: Feb 21-27 … cough drops / cough syrup (non-drowsy) OR hair brush / comb
Week 3: Feb 28-Mar 5 … toothpaste / toothbrush OR belts (men’s preferred)
Week 4: Mar 6-12 … lotion or deodorant
Week 5: Mar 13-19 … aspirin / Tylenol OR shoelaces
Week 6 & Holy Week: Mar 20-31 … any of the above

Bake Sale
Pick up some tasty treats for Thanksgiving and support the UWFaith mission work at the same time. Typical offerings include cookies, cakes, muffins and bread.
Anyone interested in donating baked goods can drop them off in the Commons the day before (i.e. Saturday Nov 18) any time between 9AM and 2PM.

Community Meal

Coat Drive
We’re enjoying beautiful late summer / early fall weather, but it won’t be long before winter is upon us, and some of our neighbors don’t have enough cold weather clothing. United Women in Faith is collecting new and very lightly used coats, scarves, boots, gloves and hats to help fill the gap!
Drop off any of these items you are able to share with your neighbor at the church - or in “the shed” - before October 20th. (If you’re donating used items, please wash them before dropping them off.)
All items collected will be donated to Refugee One.
A Walk in the Woods - a One Hour Retreat
Join us for an hour of peace and reflection, Sunday June 25th from 7-8PM.
Meet at Deer Grove, Picnic Grove #1
Keep left as you enter from Quentin Rd. Last big parking area before the end of the road.
There will be a sign and balloon at the parking lot entrance!
Trail is asphalt paved; total walk is one mile.

Join us as Kay Daugherty leads a 9-week daytime bible study focusing on the parables of Jesus, on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month at 9:30 AM starting May 3.
